Habermas Live

Habermas does have something to offer. His argument was his usual, the secularization hypothesis should be reconsidered because religion has been transformed so that it no longer dominates the public sphere. This transformed religion is a community of interpretation that can influence society within the guidelines of democratic, public deliberation. Since globalization has undermined nation-state lines and produced a shared social infrastructure, religion will have more of an influence.
